OfflineHi Chas,
Sorry for the late reply, Isaac was absent last week.
Based on his last message, I believe he might have been concerned about the overall width. Your stringers, even if they remain straight, should be at least 360mm wide to accommodate all the steps.
Once we receive the final version of your project and your approval to process it, it takes about 15 minutes to generate the StairFile documents, and approx. double the time to prepare the documents to scale, which you can purchase here.
Please note that we do not print the templates. We do, however, prepare the ready-to-print PDF documents for you.
Let us know if you have any further questions.
Best regards,
Laly

OfflineHi Isaac,
Thank you for your reply and question!
I did not see anything in building code that would impact the usability of such a design. What do you think. Would this sort of design in particular where the stringers meet pose any safety risk? Based on your experience of relevant building requirements. I do not expect you to read up on building codes in Norway, but I would expect a certain level of consistency throughout Europe. Furthermore the stairs are only to connect two floors and i shouldnt expect them to be in use at all. The whole purpose is to be able to rent out the lower floor. Let me know what you think! It is tempting to keep things as simple as possible hence the straight stringers!
Kind regards,
Chas
