Please note that I am not overly familiar with the local building codes and standards. All I have done is highlight the methods that you can use in StairDesigner to adjust these stairs.

Thanks for your reply. i wish i had knew all this information before i had purchased this software i dont think i would have purchased it. The three things that important to my stair production.stair nosing thin wedging and now the winder stair.im very disappointed.

I was wondering is there any way to make distance  between steps on winder to be a minimum of 50mm as this is regulation here.i will send you downlode of stair im working on.

This is a staircase i have already completer i just wanted to know how to get step in this position at posts.the rise of stair was 2710mm.how lond will you guys be offline for Christmas?

  

  I Also have been on trying to edit a stair in 3d but ig dosnt seem to click on objects like i was able to do before.  I know its something simple .

You can wind your steps individually when you set them as floating steps. Right-click on the stepnose and choose the floating step. This allows you to wind the step without affecting other positions.

 

Important note:  the measurement is done from the step nose until the riser of the next step (tread width measurement). Not from nose to nose. The stair I sent you was approx 60mm on the narrow side along the newel. So it complies.

I was able to  click on floating step but dont know how to move it left clck right click dosent do anything.

  

hi isaac this is stair im trying to draw in your software will it be possible ? where treads finish at post is very important.
