Free divisions (shelves and uprights with a slope)

This feature is used when you need to create a shelf or upright with a slope. We cover adding a right to left and front to back slope to a shelf, and rotating uprights so they can be placed at an angle.

We also highlight the orientation feature which allows you to quickly place the free division parallel to another panel of your cabinet, opening up some nice design opportunities.

Update: the Free Divisions feature has now been added to our Quick Design toolbars, and an additional positional reference parameter has been added.

Previously you could only adjust a free division’s position relative to the zone it is inside.

Now you can position relative to the sides of the zone as shown by the red arrows. See the 2 images below for information:
