StairDesigner interface: menus

In this video we look at the StairDesigner interface, in particular the menu bar, quick access tool bar, properties menu and the mouse menu. There are normally a number of ways to perform actions in StairDesigner. We run through your options and familiarise ourselves with the layout of the software.

We also take a look at the Mode window which allows you to display only a specific component. This is particularly useful if that component is hidden in the 2D plan view, for example the stringboard under the handrail. Finally we’ll show you how to select specific parts of the stair directly from within the 3D view.
