Use StairDesigner to its full potential
A quick reminder that to get the most out of the software please check out all the resources in the Help Centre, there are some really powerful features you might not know exist. Plus lots of advice on fast ways to design your projects.
These options will help too:
Models library
- Develop a model library of commonly used designs; save these as new projects, then edit the dimensions and replace selected components as required
- This is one of the fastest ways to work
Manufacturing methods
- Set up your own construction preferences as Manufacturing methods
- This ensures the design to manufacturing process is easy, fast and accurate
- If you need to make a change to your preferences just tweak the appropriate sub-method and you’re done
Explore the full range of design capabilities
- Whether you start with a StairDesigner model or in multi-flight mode, the ability to add, remove and edit flights, landings, apply curved parts and lots more opens up a huge range of design possibilities
- If you’re not sure how to get started with your specific design concept and cannot find what you need in the Help Centre, just ask on the forum
