Hi,

 

Please see my favorite setup for cabinet

– We recommend setting the default part to the opposite side of your original CNC to save and reuse your off-cut more quickly. (Green arrow)

-To favour identical parts you can also work with the properties (Red Arow)

With the 3 out of 4 option the pieces of the same property will be mostly on the same pattern

 

With the 4 out of 4 option the pattern will have exclusively pieces of the same property

 



This properties are export by PolyBoard by default to

– 1 for single face tooling

– 2 for two faces tooling

 

By selecting a part you can for example forbid the rotation, and define an identical property to be exclusively on the same panel and in the same direction which will then give very homogeneous panels

Hi,

What parameter setting in Optinest would best position the parts to only be separated by the cutter thickness, this would make it easier to apply tabs to the toolpaths.
