Hi,

I’ve seen with the developers and they will be  working on a future version with this option.

No time line yet though.

Cheers,

That would be great. It would be a really useful feature to have.

Hi,

There’s actually no way to select the materials to export but I’ll ask the developers if they could include this option for a future version. I know that a new version with extra post processor options is planned for release soon so maybe we’ll have something we can use then.

They are no rails on this project. This was just an example project, but is an issue we often run into after following one of the videos that suggested having fake cabinets to look like appliances etc. It means we end up with 2 versions of each project, an export version and the real version.

Another way around it would be the option to hide a unit in project mode. Then when the unit is hidden it also doesnt export.

Hi,

there is no solution for this yet,

But can you send me your project to see if the rails can be adjusted differently so they do not appear in the export

Cheers, Alexandre

Is there an option somewhere not to export a material?

When doing kitchens, we have a set of appliances we drop into place made up from different materials with textrues applied to each material, we also have a material we used for hanging rail.

When we come to export in Optinest these materials also export and need closing. Is there a way never to have a certain material never export? It is fine when it is just a single hanging rail but kitchens might have 12 materials that we need to close and it is a waste of time each time we need to export something. Seems a little check box somewhere that I am missing, dont know if I need to look in Polyboard or Optinest?

In the attached image, we dont need any of the AGA, American Fridge or Concrete pieces
