Hi, could we arrange a screen share support session to check settings as this issue is very frustrating.

Thanks

I'm sorry,

I'm not sure I understand,

on all the last tests carried out this last day I have not had any anomalies.

Even with manual rotation of the parts all seems to match, using the PP optinest with your parameters

I'm not sure but it depends on your setting.

The only anomaly I could see was in the screenshot below where the rotation was reversed.

But to have the same thing between the DXF and Optinest output, and depending on the screenshot you don't use the same orientation settings

un DXF you using "Conventional" instead of "Grain direction (Vertical)" like optinest

To upload the files here you can compress them in *.zip before

it's also easier to follow here than by mail

All the best, Alexandre

Hi Alex,

Thank you for the info. I understand what you have shown below and my settings are as per your recommendation but the issue is the writing on the label is no longer the correct way up for vertical panels since updating to 2.32a. I have attached a couple of images to show how it was before updating with the information on the label the correct way up for the left hand panel and the second after updating with the image showing the information will be upside down when assembling the cabinet.

I appreciate this is not a big issue but makes life a little bit easier especially for doors and vertical panels.

Thanks

Hi,

You can make Quick test with cabinet attached,

Now in optinest make the machining appear

Toolings.pngImage Enlarger

After that always for the understandings test, activate on the labels, the shape, the machining and the rotation

The rotation is always counter-clockwise from front/Right Edge

Hope that's helpful!

All the best, Alexandre

Hi,

I now understand the rotation of the part on the nest in relation to the label.

After the parts are machined is there a setting to have the information on the label (references) to be the correct way up, this would be particularly useful for vertical panels that have the same tooling.

Thanks

Hi,

What is the starting point for rotated parts on the nest map?

I have the rotation on the labels eg 90, 180 or 270 degrees but some parts are still difficult to determine which direction the label should be placed on the part after cutting.

Could you please explain how to work out placement of labels.

Thanks.
