It would seem that opticut is keeping the orientation of certain pieces. I have another model that is giving very inefficient results. I have attached both the model and the opticut file.

Hi Alex,
I attached both the model and the Opticut file in the first post. I haven’t received an email?
Kind regards
Tom

Have you received my mail?
Can you give my your Opticut file? (in a zip folder for upload here)
I have tried this but has made no difference. It seems as though the pieces that have been rotated shouldn’t be. But nothing I change in the parameters makes any difference?
I have sent a model to Opticut and the results are confusing. Opticut is using more sheets than required and I have no idea why? The model I have attached shows 22mm MRMDF that could easily be cut out of one sheet. However Opticut is splitting them over two. This is also happening on other models and materials. Changing the parameters does not seem to make any difference.
