Hi,

Can you upload your cabinet/project for analysis?

But, For now, there is no automatic solution to apply fittings on double doors from the division on the Left and Right doors, for example, at 50mm and from the centre

or you need to use the function “Apply the rule to Surface Split.”

The better solution to do this without manual editing is to create two door-types

-Standard door + TiP-on ( with fitting on Top Tip-on single and P rule (door) at 40 from the opening side)
-Double door + Tip-on (with fitting on Top Tip-on 2x single and N rule (from top centre)

Cheers, Alex

Thanks Alex,

This certainly works with regards to manufacturing drawings. However is there a way to use the existing fitting i.e. [Blum/TipOn] and not [Blum/TipOn x 2]?

Is it possible to use a rule that applies 2 fittings either side of the centre? The same fitting we would use for the single door?

I am trying to keep the hardware list clean and accurate. For example a single door will contain 1 x Blum/TipOn. However, a double door will contain 1 x Blum/TipOnx2. See attached image.

Kind regards

Hi,

Maybe by creating 2x tip-on fitting and using rules Unique (single) Following -N panel (Underpassing) here the top, can do the job.

don’t forget to assign hins on this double doors

Thanks Alex,

This works a treat for the single TipOn door. I can’t however get it to work for the double TipOn doors? For a pair of double doors I would need the fitting in either the top or bottom with a fitting per door? When I put in double doors it just picks up the single door fitting.

Hi

With the single doors, you have 4 directions! depending Fitting side

for example with on Left side you have

The fitting Side direction and is opposite Open Side direction

Top.pngImage Enlarger

LS.pngImage Enlarger

Top direction from fitting side (become / Right If fitting side is Top/Bottom)

Bottom direction from fitting side ( become /Left If fitting side is Top/Bottom)

and this is why you have this 4 options into link Sub-methods

Another exemple Blum aventos HK-top is not on fitting side but left and right from fitting Side

(Double doors haven’t open side but 2 fittings side L/R or Top/Bottom)

Please see video attached to add on Open side OR Top for exemple

Hope this helpful, Alex

Hello,

I have tried to add the Blum Tip-On as a sub method. Unfortunately all I seem to get is the hardware added to the hinge side of the cabinet when using both a single or double door. When I specify the cabinet top or bottom it doesn’t work??

I can get this to work manually, but this is a real pain when there are lots of doors.
