Hi Grover,

Go to “Post Processors Options” > “Orientation” and click the 3 dotted options button. Set the “Orientation” to “Horizontal max.Dimension”.

Image Enlarger

This will turn parts so that the longer sides are horizontal along the X axis.

Grouped drilling is not created by Polyboard but by the CAM software you are using. BiesseWorks and Bsolid recognise when the holes can be grouped and lowers the drilling head accordingly. However I’m not sure for TPA and it’s possible that it doesn’t do this as I think it requires a specific code in the the pp file.

Best regards,

Ness

Can we have a picture of how it should be done?

Hello Ness,

Thanks for the reply, Ness. The long side of the panel should be in X-axis when machining otherwise an error will occur in TPA.

My boss wanna ask if do you group your drillings?

Thanks,

Grover

Hi Grover,

What do you need to rotate parts for?

In the post processor options you can change how the parts are orientated in the pp export file:

In Polyboard you can only rotate cabinets in a Project, this doesn’t effect the pp export only the cabinets position relative to the project.

Best regards,

Ness

Hello Ness,

Can we try to rotate parts from both Polyboard and PP if possible?

Thanks,

Hi again,

Do you want to rotate parts in Polyboard or in the pp output?

Best regards,

Ness

I’m sorry but you question is not clear to us .

Can you explain more?

Are you asking about rotation of parts in the post processor ?

Best regards,

Ness

Hello Ness,

Can we change the cabinet position on Polyboard?

This setting doesn’t fit on our cam/cnc:

Cabinet-position.JPGImage Enlarger

So we need to re-input things vertically and tried to test it and it works fine:

Do we have any other way to rotate or change their properties on Polyboard?

Thanks,

Syslab
