Just to update this thread, we’re discussing this additional feature with the developer team as you know. And our team has advised you on a short term solution using the DXF post processor. Thanks

The instructions changing the CIX postprocessor:

Drilling with the drill unit:

PARAM,NAME=TTP,VALUE=0

For drilling with the 5 axe the parameter has to be changed in:

PARAM,NAME=TTP,VALUE=100

make it optional in the ini settings

Thats all…

Please reply on my other questions:

I quote ” How can i in the meantime work will polyboard?

I tried shape but shape only works with vertical. By horizontal shape the cix is emty.”

Hi,

Maybe it is not yet available for this PP,

If you can upload files with all the examples of the exact instructions we can discuss with the development team who will judge the interest, the difficulties and the number of requests for the addition of this new option later, if possible.

Cheers, Alexandre

Hi,

I’m not sure but can you try to change PP Max drilling Diameter

All drilling greater than this parameter PP use milling instead,

Hope that’s helpful

Hi,

I found that max drilling diameter in pp only works with horizontal drilling. Not with vertical.

Any idea why?

Foto 2 Type gereedschap “kaars” thats for 5 axes drilling

Can you make the parameter TTP optional for user with 5 axes?

Using shape instead of drilling?

These are only options tried, as the specific modification will impact the many users who already use this PP.

Hi,

I changed the max dia in the post. But there was no change in the cix.

Are there other options?

Is it possible to change the parameter?

Dennis

Hi,

We have a Rover A Biesse with Bsolid. The posprocessor from polyboard generates a cix for the drill unit but i want to drill with the 5 axe engine. Can you change the postprocessor?

PARAM,NAME=TTP,VALUE=0

has to be changed in:

PARAM,NAME=TTP,VALUE=100

We use the Biesseworks CIX postprocessor

Best Regards,

Dennis Goedhart
