Sorry to say but it’s not possible to change the panel type.
In the case you don’t want hardware associated to a panel select the shelf, and in the Properties menu, go to Links and Fitting Link.
This will open up a list of all the hardware associate to the panel.
Press Control and select all the links and use the red cross to delete them.

I have tried to search for this on the forum and find it on videos but havnt yet.
I am sure there will be a way to do this, but I want to change a parts type.
This is for a shelf that now wants to be a nil shelf. I can (and have) changed the material to be a nil but now my manufacturing methods are still applying to it as a “fixed shelf”. I want to change this panel to a “nil shelf” type of my manufacturing methods will apply the right fittings.
How do I do this? The option is greyed out. I know a could deleat it and bring in another but this seems wrong as it will also delete my other features (the doors and shelves below and drawers above.
