Hi Michel

Thanks for reply we did go through this briefly in December but this has a few different issues as you can see i am sending a sketch Brendan has done, i understand the gables and backs change but how can we have the exact measurements we want? Do you have time tomorrow to go through??

Thanks Caroline

Hi Caroline,

There are a few things to say about this cabinet and polyboard. Polyboard is respecting the overall dimension of the cabinet. So if the gable has to overshoot the back by 50mm, it will, in fact, push the back inwards so that outside dimensions are respected. It is, therefore, normal that the backs are changing dimensions and are now shorter. The actual 1000mm depth is still there (according to the drawing) when the cabinet is assembled. See below top view.

Also, I have a feeling this is the actual shape of the shelves. This is approximate, as the real dimensions were not visible on the drawing.

This was achieved with edge tooling using a drawn cad shape imported in Polyboard to do the cut.

Regards

Hi

I am attaching free shape unit i have done with the top shelf changed but can you see the drawing attached they want the shelves at an angle.

Also the back of my unit has mitre joint i dont want this but when i change to underpassing or overpassing it changes the size of the backs (must be 1125mm) and want the back in 50mm so gable/sides overhang by 50mm

Can you advise and send video please

Thanks Caroline
