Hi,

Short video to show you how to add a finishing pass in the corners

Do your jobs as usual,
export to OptiNest, then into Vcarve,

Not in Vcarve applied your Toolpath template if you have one,

Create first Polyligne drawing on croner, Moved to News Layer, here “FINISH_CUTOUT P18.1”

Create other Polyligne corner (always on same direction, just follow outline direction)

After test on first applied it to all similar layers,

You can backup (Update) , your Toolpath template, like this FINISH_CUTOUT P18.1 with automatically create for next jobs loading you toolpath template,

Hope this video Helpful, Alex

Hi,

Yes in this case shape are included into outline,

corner-L.pngImage Enlarger

The radius is determined by the radius of the milling tool.

In this case, I recommend making a first pass with your conventional tool, then a second pass with a finer tool if you want a smaller radius.

Cheers, Alex

Hi,

For this, you will need to refer to your profile document

To see if the profiled corner works with a radius of 6mm (12mm/2)

Some profil work with great radius near than 12mm

Cheers, Alex

Hi

As you can see from attached unit we want to do a cut out in front of gables 40mm high 25mm deep in an 18mm board on base units as there is a 40mm rail going in this gap

We need this to be as square as possible we use a 12mm end mill to cut out our boards do we need to use a 4mm to square this how do we do this?

can you send on a video to show me this

Thanks Caroline
