Hi Dean,
The layers names can be set up with variables that use the hole diameters and depths and other elements in the layer names.
These variables are inserted into the names using the format options of the dxf post processor:
So in the example the 5mm shelf pegs drilled to 10mm deep onto face 2 layer would be called Vdrill5_10_2.
This makes it easy to have all the hole types on the same layers so that when a CAM program reads that layer name it will add that specific tool path. This works well with most CAM packages lilke AlphaCam, Vcarve, Artcam, and machine software like Biesse, Bsolid, Homag WoodWop, SCM Xilog, Felder TpaCad,… etc
Hope this is helpful.
All the best,
Ness

Hi Dean,
Polyboard will out put lines and circles that have an extruded height.
This is not actually real 3D but 2D or 2D 1/2 geometry.
The extruded height is usually used to indicate thickness or depth, a parameter that can be picked up by most CAD/CAM packages.
If you want to eliminate the thickness extrusion load the dxf file into CAD and change the extrusion depth to 0.
The pp-report file is a text file that you can set up as needed. Just click the “format” button in the Post Processor options.
You can then drag and drop the fields into the necessary order for you cnc.
All the best,
Ness
