Hi Patrick,

The back reference defines the length of the drawer box in the following ways:

– “Back of Zone Inside”, This adapts the depth of the box according the the available space in relation to a Back Slack value.

– “Depth”, this sets a fixed depth to the drawer box in relation to the used runner length.

As you are using pre-defined runner lengths, “Depth” is the perimeter you will need to use. Set this perimeter to the depth of your runner.

For you to allow the overlap of the runner to the drawer box, see the following images:

Add a rule,

Select drawer tops as the overpassing panel, drawer backs as the underpassing panel, then set the required overlap. This will compress the drawer box by the added value.

I hope I have understood your question and that this is the answer you require.

Let me know if I can help further,

Isaac

Good morning all

When setting up the draw model assembly we have the two options in depth, back slack and depth.  Back slack gives just a variable length for the runners so is ok for the side runners.  For the undermount this sets the depth of the drawer box and matches the NL of the draw runner (i.e. to the front of the back hook).  Now, most drawer runners have a an overlap at the back say of 15mm which the model needs to account for (i.e. when trying to add say a 400 drawer runner and drawer the overall needs to allow for 420mm and if there is not enough room it should come up message that it will not fit).

Is there a way of doing this and there is no back slack option?   I ask because checking the back slack with the measuring tool is not always reliable and if missed the drawers and runners then have to be changed.

Thanks

Patrick
