Hi,

We can’t use a bar material for this,

But for the price maybe you can use Single panel fittings, and 3D accessories,

I would ideally like this method to appear in the costings as fittings with tooling and supply. The same as a hinge, or indeed a hanging rail. Is this possible?

Thanks Alex this works well. I would however prefer to be able to select the track material from bar not panel. I can’t find the option to do so. Is this possible?

Hi,

This could be the solution you want,

Inner tooling, and set to Nil to NO

Hi,

I’m not sure I understand. What I need to achieve is a groove in the shelf and the track placed in the groove. The track would be a bar material.

Regards Tom

Hi,

You can “Edit…” part and  “Add the Structure to the library…”

and after you can set into “Materials Style”

That works for all edition types, I think that can help you for this post

Try to delete and add a fixed shelf from the attached files

Cheers,

Hello,

I would like to add a groove and an aluminium track (fitting) to the underside of a shelf (mulitple). I would also require a hole in each side of the overpassing side panel (for cables to pass through).I have started to do this using single panel fittings, however having made the groove I’m now thinking there must be another/ better way to achieve what I need using a similar procedure to that of a hanging rail? Therefore I would when adding a shelf, select a shelf specifically for the led cut out and channel. The groove in the underside of the shelf, the aluminium track and the required holes would all be added….?

Please can I ask if this is the best way and if so the full procedure to do it? If there is a better way then please could I have details on this?

I have attached the model I’m currently working on.

Kind regards
