Hi Grover,Here's a document that explains the Polyboard to Opticut export set up for labels with barcodes.
I also include a document that explains the Polyboard conventions for panel face naming.
Hope this is helpful,
Best regards,
Ness
Do you have a copy of the conventions in english?

Hello Ness,
May I butt in? We are going to run our machine soon. We have Argox barcode printer and laser barcode scanner.
Our main problem is we do not know how to set things up. We have labels with barcodes generated from Polyboard and OptiCut. We are planning to use these barcodes to automatically download programs to our CNC machine. I apologize for not being too familiar about this technology. Can you elaborate step by step instructions and procedures for us please?
Best regards,
Grover G.

Hi Dela,
Attached are some Optinest files of the "qd-nested shelves" model in the Quick Design libraries.
Optinest labels output can be configured in multiple ways so consider these files as examples.
I've set the labels to show the edging aligned to each edge but many other configurations are possible.
Just tell if you want some other examples.
Hope this is helpful,
All the best,
Ness

Hi Antony,
There's no way to get Polyboard labels printed in the order your optimiser prints it's cutting maps.
Only the optimiser knows what séquence it creates the panel cutting order.
It also not possible to print one label per file. So it's impossible to search for a particular label from the reference.
The optimisation software has to pick up the edging information from the ASCII cutting lists to print it's own labels.
Our cutting and nesting programs Opticut and Optinest do this automatically.
What optimisation software are you using?
best regards,
Ness

Hi
I'm using an optimization software to optimize the cut-list given by polyboard. However the labels given by my optimizer does not have edgebanding details. is there a way to work around to use the polyboard labels to print in a sequence we want ??
Can I print individual labels in a label printer by searching the parts by reference name and print it ??
Thanks
Antony S Brighton
