Hi,
Please take a look at this screenshoot first,
-When you set option “Maximum depth” it is the maximum depth PER pass until complet part milling
and active line Tool name (other pass(es))
This tool can be set different than tool make doing endmilling pass
For example with 18mm panels thickness and this option set to 8 mm, it make 1 pass at 8 mm and second pass at 16mm with “Tool name (other pass(es))”, and final pass with first tool set at Tool name
-When you set the “Residual thickness” option, this is a pre-cut.
For example with 18mm panels thickness and this option set to 1 mm, it make 1 passe at 17mm to left 1mm residual tickness with “Tool name (other pass(es))”, and final pass with first tool set at Tool name
Hope that helpful, Alex
and the options can be combined
Hi Alex,
amazing thanks for your help
I try this option but it apply for all pieces.
Do you know if there is any possibility to choose SF limit of pieces.
for example we tell software if pieces are smaller than 1 sq/ft make it in two pass automatically if not you can do it in one pass.

Hi,
Yes, can you confirm the Post-Pro you using
Cheers, Alex
Hi my friends,
when we use CNC to cut small pieces. They are moving a little bit.
I ask around how people does that
they say their software knows that when they make hops it give number of passage base on thickness and size of pieces.
for example if your part in thickness it give 3 pass
if they have small part it make it on 2 pass
also when they choose radial entry with Z interpolate to avoid burning the bit.
do you have any idea if our software capable to do these ajustements?
best regards,
mehrdad
