Hey Stefan.
After some time, have sorted Report file format that works for me now.
Steps:
1) create with PB .csv.
2) edit .csv file – change .xxl to .pgmx,
3) edit names, so instead of saying just ”Top” it says now ”TopBaseUnit1” – so part name is together with cab name.
4) import in Maestro.
Hopefully, with later updates, this could be simplified.

The order of the fields must be set up first of all according to the Maestro specifications and this is done within Maestro (specifically by adjusting the field order using the Nesting Wizard). The “.xxl” extension is replaced by “_output.pgmx” within the PP report text file. This is a manual process, although it can be done globally and quickly using NotePad’s “Replace” command.
Hey Stefan.
Thanks, was just going trough pp report, wasn’t sure where that pgmx change will happen. Will let you know how i get on.

Hi Sandis, please see below comments from the developer team:The file you need to display the part names corresponds to the PolyBoard PP report file set up according to the Mastro description.
You just need to replace “.xxl” by “_output.pgmx”.
Hi Stefan.
Saying – ”You just need to replace “.xxl” by “_output.pgmx”.” – do you mean in PP report.txt file, need to change them manually or can be set to write file like that automatically?
I had a look on PP report Format settings, and not sure if you meant changes in there.
Any suggestions or sample maybe?
Thanks,
Sandis

Hi there.
Update:
Spoke with SCM. They told, that unfortunately there is nothing that they can do to solve this, as Maestro is very last step.
Told me to send you script language – as there is all info that PB developers might need to add column with name for machining piece for Maestro. Should be simple thing.
I have edited file that PB have converted with XConverter – and have changed machining piece`s name from default ”Piece” to ”base_cab_top” etc. so you can see how does it look when machining piece have name. .pgmx ; .pgm ; .xxl files.
Also included Maestro Scripting Language in Eng and FR (please let me know if require any other language, as few others available) and also Maestro manual.
Link to google drive as files are over 20mb total. -> (edit: link no longer found so removed)
Attached some pics how it looks when piece is without name and how it looks when given name.
You can see it is a bit hard to deal with 100+ parts on over 8 sheets. Could be more.
Please let me know how this can be solved!
Regards
Sandis
Hello there.
Working with PB + Maestro (scm)
How could i set in post-processor when creating programs to name pieces(in program) to same name as file name.
At the moment when pgmx are created – files carry over file names, but when opened up program – piece have no name, which then is given a random name like ”30650044” when nesting is done in Maestro.
Let me explain how it is happening:
Designed cabinet -> PP export – files are named accordingly ”top”, ”right side” etc.
-> XConverter creates pgmx – all good here too, file names are good.
-> Create new Nesting in Maestro by selecting pgmx programs or folder containing them.
-> then when nesting is created, as pieces didnt have names in programs, they are given random name. Pic below.
As there is over 50+ different parts to run, it is little problematic to find which is which.
SCM suggested to add column with name, that can later be picked up by Maestro.
Link with programs in diferent format – xxl, pgm, pgmx – that are created/saved in Maestro with piece having name – Top.
(edit: link removed, no longer active)
Please let me know any ideas, as you can understand it is hard to follow which part is which.
Thanks.
Sandis.
