From Center
The software starts its calculation from the centre of the zone then moves up and down, hen made drilling each 45mm step from the center to bottom and top, WITHOUT exceeding the THRESHOLD.
as the division is not a perfect number we will naturally not be able to finish exactly 100mm from the top and bottom
You can compare Threshold per Nil Shelf, zone where Polyboard are not allow to make drilling
In this video I show a quick sample (but with 200mm step)
If you want drilling are synchronized between Zone you need to use the same reference from exemple 100mm from Bottom,
From Bottom / Top first drilling from bottom/Top is not a Threshold but Fixed position
and the Threshold limit the numbers of drilling on the top

thanks for you reply one question i have attached unit for you, how do i get the drillings running all the way down on the left hand side (but 100mm from bottom), the drillings on the vertical are going to drill through so will be ok for the adj shelf on that side but no drill holes on the left hand gable am i missing something??

Hi,
Yes sure! If Your drilling a perfectly aligned,
And in your PP export option you have select option> Opposite Drillings to “Merge as through drilling”
When dxf is loaded into Vcarve, you should see layer for “No through drilling”, and separate layer for “through drilling”
you can check or uncheck ‘lamp’ in front to see them or not if front of layer name
All that remains is to apply the toolpath to this layer,

Thanks for video yes i know about the regular drillings and distances but maybe i didn’t explain correctly, its to do with the drilling in vcarve, we want to drill through the division for the top shelves on left and right but only 10mm for the holes on left going all the way down division does that make sense?
Can it be done?

Hi,
When you use regular drilling from the centre, holes are added per threshold from the bottom and the top.
But if you position them from the top, you can provide the top position and the bottom threshold, and by changing the threshold you can adjust the number of holes,
but doesn’t change the starting position

HI
In the attached unit we have a division, left of the division we have adjustable shelves all the way but on the right we only have adjustable shelves at the top. how do we manage the regular drillings? we need them to go through the division for the tops shelves but only 10mm for the rest of the shelves down the division
Can this be done?
