I had not thought about doing them as a single panel fixing. I will have a play round with that to see how it works and if it exports the same etc.

Thanks

Hi,

I did some tests to find where this anomaly came from, by deleting panel by panel,

I will make a request to the editor soon, to find out if an additional option like full width / height for inner tooling can be added,

The editor is currently working on many tweaks and new options, there may be a long delay before looking at this.

Maybe you could try with single panel fittings?

I put it at 6 mm for them placed at 0 mm from the edge to have half

remains to be seen if your cnc interprets the same thing,

I attach J-edit too

Cheers, Alexandre

Thanks, That seems to have solved it for this project but this is something we come accross quite often. We set the inner tools for fake door gaps like that longer than we need so if the dimensions change the inner tooling still works, we have been caught out in the past where we think we have done it, then the design has changed dimensions and the tooling is no longer the full length of the panel. We have tried using the proportional check box but if we always want to keep it 3mm wide and just change the length we have not got that to work corrently yet.

How did you know where to look so we know how to try to sort it ourselves in the future?

Here is another project that we have completely recently where it is happening again.

Hi again,

on this project i see first anomaly created by inner tooling on fakedoor use into cab J

You should use panel dimension instead of 1000mm

inner.pngImage Enlarger

and another i see is created by inner tooling too on cabinet H,

when inner tooling equals to verticals divisions, and your sub methode Groove and Over. ,overpass on him to 0.1mm.

I have edit inner tooling to 505.8mm

After edit this two point, i don’t see other, did i have missed anything else?

Does this mean it is a bug and not a setting I need to change?

What do you mean by can you joined us the project?

Cheers, Joss

Yeah that is working for some units but doesnt effect the majority. We also have the same issue when we are in project mode.

This one isnt too bad but shows the same unit as the previous post.

We find that if you turn off the tooling the glitches stop
