Hi Solvar, here are your files. Please note, this StairFile Lite service is a processing service only. We haven’t reviewed or revised your project in any way. I hope the build goes well. Please keep us updated. All the best, Stefan

Sorry

I made a mistake, can you use this file instead of the other one?

Thank you

Solvar

Hi Ness

Ok, I would like to request the stair file lite service to get the PDF and DXF files for this stair.

Thank you

Solvar

Hi Sovar,

Your stair looks fine.

If you use the free StairFile Lite service we’ll send you the PDF workshop document.

This document has the dimensioned plans of each part and the cutting lists.

It can be used to mark out the steps but the strings don’t have enough dimensions to mark up.

To build the strings, the service also gives you all the parts in DXF so you can print from a CAD program into a PDF document using a PDF printer like PDF Creator. You can also use a free CAD program like Draftsight. These files can also be dimensioned in CAD so that you can mark up from a dimensioned drawing.

See our software download page for Draftsight : https://wooddesigner.org/membe…..raftsight/

To have the complete set of full size templates in PDF ready to print you need to buy a full StairFile Pro service:

All the best,

Ness

Hi Ness

Thank you for your help, it was the direct x driver.

When I dowloaded your file it changes to a txt file, I can open it and it seems to be ok. But I don’t know if there are any changes that get lost during the convertion.

Anyway I changed it to be a little bit wider. But if I make it any wider in the 3rd flight then there will be a problem with headroom.

I am planning to use the steps from my old stairs, they are 42mm thick so I changed the thickness.

Could you maybe take a look at it and is it possible to get the drawings in pdf also?

Sincerely

Solvar

Hi Solvar,

If your 3D view is not showing it’s probably because the Direct X driver of your video card is not up to date.

To check got to the 3D menu > Options>Diagnosis:

3D-options.jpgImage Enlarger

Make sur the Direct X driver is installed.

Otherwise download and install the driver from the Microsoft website.

Ii attach your stair with a few tweaks :

You can use the model to properly set up your project.

Hope this works for you.

All the best,

Ness

Hi

I’m new to this. I have tried to make a stair to my basement with the demo version, but I can’t see how it looks without 3D view.

Is it possible to get 3D view with all the specifications in metric system?

Sincerely

Solvar
