Hi alex, how can i add that riser to my stringboard like i referred to on my screenshot in my initial message? as i want to now add that final riser to be flush with the existing floor as it gives a good finished look aswell. please advise. note, there was no sound in the previous video you have sent.

Thanks

Hi,

Please see video below,

We have received your e-mail and we would like to warn you that the Headroom check is carried out from the last step, not the landing step.

with 2100mm of value, this would mean that with an average step height of 210mm, the ceiling would be 1890mm on the landing step.

Cheers, Alex

is it possible to add a riser after the last tread in a staircase? so instead of our finished tread touching the existing floor, theres a riser to flush with the existing floor?

i have added an example

red= existing floor

green= the riser i want to add into the stringer so it flushes with the existing floorScreenshot-2024-04-21-105849.pngImage Enlarger
