As Duayne says, you do get a refund on 1 StairFile Pro if you buy StairDesigner. I’m sure you know this bit, Mike, but just to confirm, the free version of the software allows you to do all the design work, but the output is not available, hence the options of buying it or using a StairFile to get the output.

Thanks for your comments, Duayne…

you have 2 sets , stair file pro will cost you close to $200 pounds or what ever money they use over there  . if you plan on building more sets i would advise that you buy the whole program , pay for the first stair file pro service , they will reduce the price of the full Stair Designer program by that much  . in my opinion the free version of Stair designer is very limited without the stair file pro service or the full program !

Hi Mike, quite a lot of work goes into this so it is one StairFile Pro for each project. You get a review, revision if necessary and support for that project included. Please read through the details here: https://wooddesigner.org/stair…..e-service/

All the best, Stefan

Hi Mike, thanks for posting your project. As with the other stair you’ve just posted, for us to help you with this kind of work you would need to buy a StairFile Pro from this page: https://wooddesigner.org/membe…..discounts/

Thanks, Stefan

Hi Ness I have two build two sets of stairs for one customer. it is a fairly large cottage and one of the sets ( Fleming 2) has a one step landing right at the bottom. I cant seem to figure out how to achieve this . There will be 4×4 timber newel posts with decorative metal art railings on them as well as turned metal spindles. i will e-mail you the house plans as they are to large to upload to the forum. we are using a large wide alb for the string boards and the treads are going to have the live edge on the front of them similar to the ones we did for the last small log cottage. If you could show me how to go about this that would be great.

Thanks

Mike
