also, i saw on your winder with straight flight, you’ve managed to keep all steps on the straight flight straight and the winders separate, how do i do this? as that very first step on the straight flight after the winder is always on an angle even if changed to a straight step individually?

Hi Yohaan,
Here is a video that explains how to use the well hole feature and how to start a stair with a landing.

Hi,You can reduce them by Microsoft paint, from with Ctrl+W, and saved them as *.PNG format
In last case you can joined them by mail at support@wooddesigner.org , “Forum files for Technical Teams” as reference
Can you always joined your stair in your request and give total height needed?
by headroom variable, you talk about Floor height?
Cheers, Alex
by head room variable i mean this control value. even though it the clearance is at 2100mm, we are still experiencing the same issue. the head height does not comply when taken to be installed on site. this is also due to me not knowing how to remove winders that stairdesigner gives by default, to be replaced with a flat landing step.

can anyone explain and or show how to control the headroom variable. i have found the selection in which the software asks for head height clearance, however we are still discovering mistakes and ending up not complying with the standard heigh head clearance. for reference, i have attached a photo of a job i recently did and had to change to make 2 new whole staircases as the headroom in the Well/entry of the stairs was smaller then the compliant requirement.
Please note, the first picture of the Well, entry is the staircase to an identical project next to ours, they have made their staircase with 1 landing, whereas StairDesigner had given us 3 winders, which didn’t comply to the headroom requirements, can anyone explain the correct way to approach jobs like these?
