Hi Piotr,

Here are the files for your version 2. I assumed you checked my version before as you asked the documents after that I send you the version 3.

Hi Michael
you changed my design
I need to cut the string above the cut string
nosing 30mm protrudes from the front and left side
the first rounded step
and the post is 105 x 105 mm
on the project you sent me is different
the poles are 165mm x165mm
cut strings are in the wrong place for the post
I am sending you a project with which I contacted you for help
please send me this file in dxf format
I will make the necessary changes with the steps in artcam

please check the photos I sent earlier

thanks for your help

Regards Piotr

Hi Piotr,

For the first step, you can edit the shape by going to the step view and double click on the step to enter the editing mode. Drag lines around and make curves so that it fits your project.

I added some imaginary stringboards to trick sd and recess the riser so that they remain flush with the cutstringer. This is currently the only way to do it.

I set an offset of 30mm to the custringers so that the steps will overpass 30mm but for the back of the step you will need to do a manual cut or edit the dfx files if you work a CNC before processing as this is yet not possible to do with SD.

I added the new file

Hi Piotr,

I fixed the gap on the cutstringer as this is depending on the position of the step. The issue is related to the riser and is a known problem which is being looked at. I do not totally understand what you want to do with the steps. Can you make me a drawing explaining what you want to achieve?

regards

Hi Stefan
if you can please check my project
and explain to me or send a link with the video
I can't join the upper cut string to the newel post
Besides, I would like the noses to protrude inwards from the cut string 30mm and 30mm to the back of the step
