Hello

This is my first attempt at designing some stairs so there may be so obvious errors

I have a void of 1770×1720 to fit a staircase. The orientation is what makes it difficult. This is the houses main staircase in a large hall area so trying to avoid a cramped staircase. The proposal is to manufacture oak stringers, posts and handrail. The rest from softwood and banisters from appropriate glass.

Initially I wanted to make a quarter turn stair with winders but it appears i can’t get this to fit within the regulations so I have attached a half turn.

My questions/requests are as follows;

1. Can you point me in the direction of being able to get rid of handrail and banisters between particular newel posts and not others?

2.Can you send me a Sketchup file that can be used in their free version?

3.Can the newel posts start on the first step up from the ground?

Thanks for your time
