Thanks for the update. Glad to hear you’ve got your plotter working again.

It happens in all projects. I shall try some other drivers, otherwise I’ll change back to Windows 7.

Hi Hasse, is the problem specific to 1 particular project? If so, can you post the stair file here. If not, it would appear the the new driver software isn’t fully compatible with Windows 10. As you say, template printing functionality is working on your other printer. We would recommend contacting the manufacturer. Sorry we cannot provide you with a solution at the moment. Best regards, Stefan

Hello Ness!

I’m using Stairdesigner 6.51

I’m open a file and press File > Print Template > OK and then I get a bluescreen.
And on the bluescreen it says there’s been an error and it saves the files and then it restarts. There is also a error code or something that says system_service_exception win32kfull.sys

And as I said before, it there is no problem to print a picture or a document on that plotter (outside of Stairdesigner).
There is also no problem with printing Templates or Projects on my Brother Printer in A4.

Hi Hasse,

Thanks for reporting this bug.

To help us pin point and fix this problem, can you send us a bit more information?

What StairDesigner version are you using, 6 or 7?

Can you describe the exact suit of operations and what you do to make the computer crash?

What error messages do you get when the computer crashes?

Thanks a lot for your help.

All the best,

Ness

I’ve recently upgraded to Windows 10 and had to reinstall my plotter drivers. Everything works well and I can print pictures from the computer. But when I should print a template within Stairdesigner the whole computer crashes!
