Config Polyboard PP for optinest B-solid|Page 2|Forum|WOOD DESIGNER
October 4, 2012
Hi Antony,
If you have installed the Quick Design libraries in Polyboard you should have in the list of post processors that include the Optinest output for Bsolid.
These are named “Optinest-par-Bsolid” and “Optinest-par-Bsolid2”.
These are example post processors for Bsolid that you can configure according to your machine set up.
Bsolid, like BiesseWorks uses the layer names generated by Polyboard to apply automatic tool paths to the geometry of a DXF file.
As you can see from the examples, all layer names must start with TCH, the face of the part is defined by the code W, etc. Variables for depth, diameter, etc, can be inserted by clicking the … button and adding them to the list.
They then appear in the layer name as for depth, for thickness, etc. these will be replaced by the depth and thickness values as defined by your Polyboard project.
The exact syntax is given in the Biesse document I have attached. This is the document for BiesseWorks so Bsolid may have changed slightly the syntax. You should be able to get the updated syntax from your machine documents or ask directly from Biesse.
We have set this up for several clients and there have not been problems once correctly set up.
Your Biesse engineer should have no trouble setting this up for you if necessary.
If you or your Biesse engineer need help doing this please consider buying some support hours from our Support page here:

Hope this is helpful, all the best,
Ness
