Edging Cut List Export - Top?

Hey guys, 

When I export the cut list and send it to excel the edging is labelled as Top, Right, Bottom and Left. 

I have never heard it called this before, I normally have it as Long or Short Edge. 

Can someone shed light on how Top relates to the edge? Is top the short edge or long edge? 

Its very confusing……please help. 

Is there any way to change this?
