I think there has been some confusion, the xcs files have unique names.

But all files start by default with text

CreateFinishedWorkpieceBox(“Piece“, 910, 600, 19);

you were the first to send us the feedback and this specific request,

which is why I had difficulty understanding your initial request.

All the best, Alex

Hi,

After discussions with the development team, this customisation is the subject of an extra quote

So I’ve asked my colleague to give you a quote.

Once validated, we’ll be able to ask the development team to add this function,

This will not change the current final quote

Cheers, Alex

Hi,

When you export like your PP setting you upload per mail, you always have format of “Cab name_Part num_cutting list number”

This is feasible, I am waiting for information,

I’ll let you know as soon as possible,

but generally once validated the customizations are put in place quickly

Cheers, Alex

Hi Alex, I have lots of cabinets to do this week so will this be a quick fix? To be clear the name needs to have cabinet name plus part name.

Thanks

Hi,

After validation, I sent the request to the developments team, And let you know soon

The name of the parts to be simplified by you

For example rename cabinet to A-B-C….

And for part you can reduce name from Tools > Preferences

Pref-1.pngImage Enlarger

“%1” call drawer name

“Model[1]_Back Drawer 450 [1]_2_23_f0” can become “B_Bck Drw 450 [1]_23_f0”

Cheers, Alex

Good morning Alex

Both formats work fine, so just need Polyboard to output the XCS with name in that place.  STD is shorter so probably best to go with that so it does not run of the end of the label.  Thanks for the other information, they are things I have already done in other cabinets.

Thanks

Hi,

In the email that you sent, I only have one piece that includes the PolyBoard configuration “Model[1]_Back Drawer 450 [1]_2_23”.

“Cabinet name_part name_part number(cutting list)”

Available option from PolyBoard

1 Cabinet name can be edit from properties menu
cab-name2.pngImage Enlarger

2 In the tool preferences menu, you can optimise the part name to make it simpler.
Pref.pngImage Enlarger

3 For this last point, which I think is your main problem, I’m going to ask the development team but firstly,

Piece.pngImage Enlarger

Maestro is really strict, can you test the files included into zip attached,

I have manually edit “Piece” by file name “STD” and file name without space ‘NOSPE”

and let me know if it is better for you?

For upload files, you can read this post
