Hi Joseph,
Polyboard is not a CAD program like AutoCad or SolidWorks. CAD programs work with geometrical elements, lines arcs, curves etc. and you draw objects, that represent cabinets by combining these. Polyboard is a cabinet design program that works with parametric library elements, panels, hardware, edging etc. and you build a cabinet by combining these the drawings are derived from the model you build. So there is no way that you can have the same tools in CAD and in Polyboard.
It’s possible in Polyboard to import a shape drawn in CAD and then tell Polyboard what library elements you want to follow the shape. It’s also possible to export the shape of a Polyboard model into CAD but you can’t have the same tools in CAD as you can in Polyboard.
Hope this is helpful.
Have a great Christmas.
Best regards,
Ness

Hi Joseph, I’m still not sure what you’re referring to. Now you have upgraded from Lite to Pro, you can:
- Create units with more unusual shapes as well as square/rectangular, and have sloping side and tops – please watch the Free Shapes, Side Slope and Sloping Top videos on this page: https://wooddesigner.org/suppo…..s/carcass/
- Fully access the Structures menu for more creative panel design – watch the videos on this page for all the new options open to you now: https://wooddesigner.org/suppo…..el-design/
- And apply hardware: https://wooddesigner.org/suppo…../hardware/
Please also make sure you’ve installed the Quick Design Libraries Pro edition from this page: https://wooddesigner.org/suppo…..-benefits/
And also that you have set up your Quick Design Toolbars.

Hi Joseph, can you explain what you cannot do in more detail please. It also can help to upload a screenshot. Here’s a post with advice on how to do that if you need it: https://wooddesigner.org/forum…..ing-files/
Another option that is super quick is the Snipping Tool which comes with Windows. Thanks
