Hi Kristel,

When you have a PolyBoard licence activated to a specific computer, it is locked to that computer and can’t be actively moved on a regular day to day basis. If you wish to transfer between computers, we offer a service to allow you to complete that (see attached link).

https://wooddesigner.org/help-…..-software/

Our recommendation for setting up multiple computers for designing is to download the free version on as many devices as necessary. The free version contains full design functionality. What you won’t be able to do is output documents and machining files on the free versions. We recommend choosing the devices that you wish to activate your licences on and sharing files via a cloud.

I hope this helps, let me know if I can clarify anything further.

Regards,

Isaac

Hi,

I´m interested about potential options for adjusting our current Polyboard licensing setup to accommodate remote work flexibility within our company.

Currently, we have an optimal number of Polyboard licenses allocated to non-portable computers within our organization. However, as we are now exploring ways to facilitate remote work arrangements, we are interested in exploring alternative licensing solutions that would allow us to use Polyboard on various computers, including portable devices, as needed.

Specifically, we are wondering if there is a way to transfer or activate licenses on a memory stick or key, or if there are any other virtual licensing options available that would enable us to utilize Polyboard on different computers without the need for a fixed license tied to a specific machine.

Thank you in advance for your help and support.
