Hi Michel,

that doesn’t seem like a solution really if i have to do that for every unit i design. It’s never done this before on my previous designs, which are the same set up. Can you ask dev team to look into it please?

Hi Connor,

It seems the link is not working when overpassing the double back compared to the fixed shelf. The solution however is to select the fixed shelf and put a recess of the thickness of the double back in reference to the back.

Hi Connor,

Is this the result you want to achieve?

Hi Michel,

the double back at the front sits within the groove and adjusts the shelf, so the shelf sits 12mm further in so they don’t clash.

The double back at the back with red circle is doing the same. However, the shelf has not reduced by 12mm. So the double back won’t go on because the shelf comes past where the double back sits.

Hi Connor,

This is not very clear to me. I do not see this in the PB file?

Can you be more specific?

regards

I have created a shelving unit today and only noticed when i cut it out that the rear double back has not reduced the shelf so it clashes. It’s not affected at the front, the shelf has been brought inside of the double back.

See attached file and image. Black circle area is fine, red circle is where the clash is.

The shelf needs to sit inside the recess like at the front.
