Hi both,

Thanks for your very good answer to SlickDesign’s question Rafal.

Just for information, plinths can only exist if the upright panel is underpassing the bottom. This is programming problem that might be fixed in future versions, and Rafal’s work around is a good way to go.

You can also get aroung this by changing the links/asssembly type to groove:

This leaves the priority as overpassing and doesn’t erase the plinth.

hope this is interesting,

All the best,

Ness

Hi SlickDesigns,

I had the same problem and here’s the solution:

1. Make front panel overpass the bottom – click on the front panel and then in the Properties tab > Links > expand Bottom > choose Priority to Overpassing.

2. Your front plinth will dissapear. I am not sure why it does that, but here is what you can do: click on the Plinth Zone and add a double back. Similar, if you change your side panels to overpass the bottom: side plinths will dissapear, but you can add them back as Uprights.

The cutlist will now call your plinth as Double Back, which in case of a big project might be confusing and here is how you can fix it:

go to Tools > Preferences > Customize Panel Types > under Double Back you can rename one of them (or add more just by changing the number about double back types) to fx. plinth, or something relevant to you. Now when you put a Double Back as a plinth, be sure to select the type that you added/ renamed.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Hello,

This is my First time using Polyboard and Im looking to use it as a full time design solution for my business. Attached is the cabinetfile for a store front counter. Everything looks great on it except i cant seem to make the front panel overpass all other panels so that you cant see any seams when viewing from the front and keep the plinth in place. Does any one have any ideas how to solve this? Also is this the proper place to submit for cut list and plans and cut maps?
