Hi Michel,

I’ve been through it again and have tried to address the points you raised hopefully it’s a lot better now fingers crossed.

Don’t seem to be able to get newel post #1 and #4 lined up for some reason

String boards #2 and #4 to be covered in to ground level

Landing 2 left side attaches to wooden beam, landing exit attaches to wooden beam and top of right Stringer #4 attaches to beam.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Should be a bit closer to standard now.

Regards

Colin

Dear Michael,

Thank you for having a look at it not very good hey.

I guess I’m a bit old for new software by the looks of it.

I will have another go at it in the morning, is it OK to send it back again for you to have another look at it would be most appreciated.

It should have been near standard build but I think I just disappeared into a grease spot!!

Kind regards

Colin

Hi Colin,

To allow me to check your stair you need to tell me the story behind them.

First, why are the steps not penetrating the stringboards and only the newels?

why is the handrail on step 15 offset with 30 mm?

why is the first left newel not connecting with the floor?

I am not even speaking about the connections between stringboard and newels and the arrival connection of step 15 with the floor level.

There is quite a lot to look at as this stair build is not near a standard build.

regards

Good afternoon,

Please could you process the attached file of my stairs, if you have time I would appreciate it if you could have a quick look and  see if I’ve made any obvious mistakes as it’s my first time with the software.

thank you

Colin
