Hi Claes,

I’m away from my office and working from my laptop, so I’m not sure that I have the latest version of your stair project.

I’m posting a version that I have tweaked by adding a posts to facilitate the assembly of the strings.

If this if Ok I can send you the working documents, otherwise just adjust the model and send it back for processing.

All the best,

Hi Ness, thank you for this! I think it looks nice and my only concerns is the landing on the next floor. Shouldn’t there be a “last step” or is it the floor that will be the last step? The strings seems to end on different levels in your pics? Kindest regards CLaes

Hi Claes,

Your stair will be a little steep but should work fine.

I’ve tweaked a bit the design making the steps a little higher but wider. This will make a safer stair.

I’ve also changed a few other details like adding a landing step and reducing the step and riser housings.

As a full member I can send you the working documents if the design suits you.

All the best,

Ness

Hi Ness,

i think your adjustments to my design sound really good!

looking forward to receive the working documents and get started! Thank you very much in advance! /Claes

Dear Wooddesigner, I’m building a garage and will have a small apartment on the loft of the garage.

The stair to the loft will start within the garage and will be in angle upwards.

There will be a balcony door from the outside so we will not have to carry beds and sofas through the stairs.

Yes it’s a compact stair but will it work?

KIndest regards

Claes
