Hi,

I think you have confusion with version,

you received activation for  OC 6 on 16 may 23,

and this option is available since OC 6.04G version and you can update for free to 6.05B

If you haven’t updated Polyboard 7 since you bought it, I recommend that you do so too.

Hi Alex,

I cannot use the Opticut option as version 7 is a major update and would require me paying for the update.

I can change the edging in each plan but was just wondering if there was a way of changing it in all methods that would overwrite them.

Thanks

The best solution is to use OC option

else you need to use modif style option on each project to update them easily

Thanks again Alex,

I have redefined edging at 0mmm and moved both options to NET, however it looks like I will have to “Modify the Project Style” in all current projects unless there is a blanket way of doing this?

Ok,

Two way

– defini you edge thickness to 0mm

– use option edges banding option to “Max. thickness comp.”, a new optimisation is needed to see the difference

if you don’t have this option please update OptiCut, more information below

Thanks for this, but the reason I have Opticut set at “Overall” is that my edge bander has pre-milling. If the panel depth is 570 I need to cut it at 570, not remove the edging off. I still want the option to be able to Oversize though.

Hi,

Quick reply, there is another post details this but can’t find the link…

you should control option from Polyboard and OptiCut

OC.pngImage Enlarger

Net dim = Overall part dim – edges thickness + oversizing

Just sat here trying to finish a job, but the oversizing does not seem to do anything. I am manually oversizing certain panels but the resulting export to Opticut just gives me the standard sizes.

Thanks in advance.
