Hi Ness, these profiles run the full length down the side of a unit. The carcase of the side of the unit is set back 12mm from the face of the top and bottom panels. The units are spaced 30mm apart. this forms a full length handle along the edge of the doors. Please see my attached picture.

(edit: link no longer found so removed)

Also i would like to do the same thing horizontally along the top of kitchen cabinets and inbetween drawers, again please see pic.

Thanks

Hi Jimbouk,

I’ve been looking at the Blum profiles but can’t understand how they are fixed to the cabinets.

Can you send me a sketch to show their position relative to the carcass and facades?

If you can send me the Polyboard models you want to add them too I’ll show you how to do it.

all the best

Hi Ness,

Please could you help me out with the following. I would like to set up this handle profile for base cabinets.

https://www.blum.org.uk/librar…..SI064A.pdf

And this one for tall cabinets.

https://www.blum.org.uk/librar…..SI079A.pdf

I can make the cabinets to the right dimensions but would like to add these items in so that they show up when looking at the project in 3d mode so my client can have a better idea of how her kitchen will look.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Everyone,

As promised click here for the video on setting up drawers behind doors.

Hope this helps.

I’ll see with Stefan so that we set up a page and adding the appropriate templates and documents.

This one is great too, Thank you! How can I get the handle gap above the top door? make slack on the drawer front panel and the top? then adjust the sizes of the drawers to make them equal?
